12. What type of foundation do you recommend?

Any type of foundation can be used- basement, crawl space, piers or concrete slab. We suggest that concrete blocks be used in lieu of the lighter weight blocks due to the weight of the log walls. Also due to the weight, it is very important to make sure that the logs are centered over the foundation and not over extended on one side or another.
