PRE-CUT AND PRE-NUMBER LOGS
Step 1: The foundation is built according to the plan sent to you for your particular log kit. You choose the type of foundation . . . a pier, concrete slab, crawl space or basement.
Step 2: After the sub floor system is installed, each wall is laid log by log according to the number on the logs, corresponding with the stack sheet. You can readily recognize the precision cuts and corner assembly logs that make the log home a quality structure.
Step 3: Rafters or roof trusses (not included in kit) are erected and the sheathing and roofing are affixed. Your log kit is now “in the dry.” You can proceed at your desired pace to finish the log home
There is a sense of pride that comes only from constructing your own log home. Making your dream log home a reality is easier than ever before.
